The rich history of Il Mulino di Trastevere dates back to the early 19^th century. Across the 19^th and 20^th century, the building has undergone multiple transformations before taking its current shape.

TODAY
When we bought the building back in the summer of 2019, our idea was to transform a set of disparate, incongruous flats into a coherent whole of high-end holiday apartments. Working with Roman architecture firm Tonci Ottieri & Associati, we embarked on a long, enriching renovation journey which gave a completely new look to the building, creating Il Mulino di Trastevere as it is today.

Il Mulino di Trastevere offers five independent apartments of different sizes, each with its own unique character. Each apartment boasts beautiful views over Rome’s botanical garden, giving guests a unique and natural getaway, right in the centre of Rome. All rooms are equipped with cooking facilities, a living room, and one to two bedrooms, and all can be accessed with an elevator.
